Delhi –– Rishikesh- Jaipur -Agra – Delhi

Day 01,: Arrival in Delhi -
The guests are transferred to a hotel in Delhi which is the capital of the country. The city of Delhi is dotted with many historical attractions for the domestic and the international travelers. After their arrival they spend their night in some of the most enjoyable hotels in this bustling metropolitan. One can see many old buildings in the city of Delhi and can enjoy on the way itself because every corner of this historical city reflects the glorious past of India. The city of Delhi is a treasure of past events that have taken place over there right from the era of the Mughal emperors.

DAY 2 : Delhi – RISHIKESH  -  After Breakfast we drive to the foothills of the Himalaya’s -The Garhwal region of north India is speckled with some of the holiest of Hindu pilgrimage sites and Rishikesh is one such major attractions. Rishikesh is located in the northern part of Uttar Pradesh. It is 238 km northeast of Delhi and 24 km north of Haridwar and spreads on the right banks of the Ganges, at its confluence with the Chandrabhaga stream.It is surrounded by hills on three sides and is perched at an altitude of 356 meters above sea level. Rishikesh is the birthplace of yoga. It attracts thousands of tourists every year, who come to seek mental peace in the midst of the humdrum of modern life. The various ghats and temples assist the human spirit in its endeavor to be one with the ultimate source of all creations. It is also an attraction for the ones in search of adventure and passion.

Day 03,: RISHIKESH: take a day off from your stress and relax on the silver sand beaches of the holy river Ganga. White Rafting on the river can be organized for those who seek some adventure. You sunbathe, jungle walk, and you can visit the neighboring temples and ashrams for evening prayers "aarti and pooja". The river here looks especially spectacular during aarti and pooja  (evening worship) when  more than a thousand diyas or oil lamps float on the water. The holy river ganges is worshiped by hundred’s of devotees offering flowers and prayers.

 

 Day 04,: Rishikesh- Delhi
After breakfast, the tour leaves for the city of Delhi. Evening at leisure. Overnight delhi. 

Day 05,: Delhi
After breakfast, you can visit various places in Delhi which include the Red Fort or ‘Lal Quila’ built in red sandstone that was the symbol of power in the Mogul era and Jama Masjid the largest mosques in India. The Masjid is also one of the oldest holy places of worship in the capital city. The Fort and the Masjid was built by Shah Jahan. The Red Fort is a mega structure and was also built by the esteemed Emperor Shah Jahan. Rajghat, which is the place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated and Chandini Chowk which is the famous market place of Delhi has been the place of hustle and bustle since the Mogul rule. The tour includes visiting places like Humayun’s Tomb built by his wife and has influences of Persian architecture, Qutub Minar the tallest minar in India, Connaught Place a contemporary shopping complex, President House or Rahtrapati Bhavan and the Birla Mandir temple dedicated to the Lord Laxmi Narayan. Overnight Delhi.

Day 06,: Jaipur
After breakfast, the guests leave for Jaipur.The city of Jaipur is the symbol of Royal heritage with its numerous historical monuments.

Day 07,: Jaipur  After having breakfast the tourists are taken for an excursion to the Amber Fort which in the olden days served as the capital for the state of Jaipur. It was built in the year 1592. Then they are given an elephant ride from the Aravalli’s foothills to the entrance of the Amber Fort. In the afternoon the tourists are taken to a museum where they can see the extensive collection of carpets, arts, weapons and enamel ware. They are also taken to visit the Jantar Mantar the observatory and the Hawa Mahal also called as the palace of winds in Jaipur. The Hawa Mahal signifies the feat of engineering of the land.

Day 08,: Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra,
The tour leaves for Agra after having breakfast. On the way they visit Fatehpur Sikri which is also known as the Mughal city which was abandoned. One can see the graceful and ancient buildings which include the Akbar Mausoleum where the tomb of emperor Akbar lies in the center of the large garden, Jama Masjid has beautiful interiors and was the first structure to be built in 1571, Panch Mahal which is a five storeyed pavilion for ladies of the harem and many other palaces. After arriving at Agra, the tourists are provided with a comfortable stay at a hotel of the city and they have an overnight stay in the same hotel.

Day 09,: Agra – Delhi
The graceful city of Agra still retains its Mogul character with numerous historical relics and attractions. Post breakfast the tour leaves for sight seeing tour of the city of Agra. There the tourists visit the Red Fort, which contains the public and private audience hall, and many other structures that are beautiful, the Itimad-ud-daulah, and the most remarkable monument of India, i.e., the Taj Mahal, which was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz and that is why it is also known as the symbol of love. The Taj Mahal is also one of the Seven Wonders of the World . The tourists leave for Delhi and then the guests are transferred to the airport from where they can board the flight to their way back home.
