The best time to visit Chandigarh is from mid-August to November. The attractive locations in this city are Bougainvillea Park, Leisure Valley, National Gallery of Portraits, International Dolls Museum, City Center shopping complex, Sukhna Lake, Rock Garden and Rose Garden. The important events celebrated in this city are Chrysanthemum show, Chandigarh Carnival, Mango Festival, Festival of Gardens, Teej festival and Baisakhi.
