Karnataka is the headquarters for the airlines like Kingfisher Airlines and Air Deccan. Bangalore and Mangalore are the only two cities in Karnataka which have International airports whereas Belgaum, Hubli, Bellary and Hampi have domestic airports. Mangalore, the chief port city of Karnataka also has an airport which is situated 20 kilometers north east in the city. The Mangalore International Airport functions as international and domestic airport. There are daily domestic flights to Goa, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kozhikode and Kochi. Domestic flights such as Indian Airlines , Kingfisher Airlines, Jet Airways, and Air Deccan have begun servicing the city. Air India operates it flights from Banglore to the countries like Muscat, Bahrain, Doha, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
