Visa Permits

 
While traveling to Kathmandu or any other place in Nepal, the tourists need to carry several documents. A valid passport accompanied with Nepalese Visa is a must. Documents must have the certifying points of exit or entry. Duly filled and well attested embarkation and disembarkation forms must be carried along. Other than these documents such as certification of departure and arrival, address and identity proof and return tickets are required. Permitting documents for mountaineering and trekking must be carried along

There are specific rules and regulation of visa and passport requirements for SAARC countries, People’s Republic of China and other nations. A valid pass port and visa are required for all foreign tourists. The Visa is obtained for free for all foreign tourists visiting only for three days. The visa is offered for free to the tourist with nationality of SAARC countries or People’s Republic of China.

Almost 50 nations all around the world are facilitated with “Visa on Arrival”. Rest of the countries need to apply for the Visa. It is obtained from the Royal Nepalese Embassy located in respective countries. The tourist visa is offered for maximum of five months.

Children below 10 years need not show any identification while traveling through air.
