The voltage output in the state and the whole of the country ranges between 220-240 volts. The electricity in the state is through a government owned body.
If the electrical devices that you have with you are not compatible with 240 volt input, then you will need a voltage converter which is mostly available in any electrical store. The plug outlet is very different from the ones used in American and European countries. The state uses the round pin plug instead of the flat pin type that most American and European countries use. A universal plug adaptor is required for the appliance to work.
