Kerala has three International airports, all of them with well connected by domestic and international flights. Thiruvananthapuram International Airport is situated 15 Kilometers from the City Center . Cochin International Airport is the new international airport of the State.
The airport is about 30 kilometers away from Kochi. There are currently more than 70 flights that operate in the place, connecting all major cities across India. This airport is close to all the three national highways that pass through Kerala (NH 47, NH 17, and NH 49). The arterial railway line from Kanyakumari to Delhi is quite close to the Cochin International airport. One of the biggest seaports in India- the Cochin Sea port is also situated nearby the airport. The third International airport is the Karipur Airport in Kozhikode.
