Home - Fact Sheet - Kerala Travel Details - Health
Health

Much of Kerala features excellent sanitation and health facilities. However, it’s always better to be on the safer side and not let your health get affected . The thumb rule is to be absolutely sure about the food and drink that you consume.

Kerala has a pleasing climate throughout the year and doesn’t require you to carry any special climate gear. The summers however tend to get a bit humid, so if you’re planning to visit the place during the summers, pack some light weight cotton wear, shades and a sunscreen of a SPF rating 15 or higher. To prevent stomach problems try to drink mineral water.

Kerala plays host to thousands of tourists every year. Most of them return home without any sort of health problems whatsoever. The state also has one of the most highly developed healthcare facilities in the country, so you are in safe hands even if you fall sick. Carry a first aid kit with bandages, water-purification tablets, antibiotics, antiseptics, thermometer and mosquito repellents. Though immigrant officials don’t normally ask for an International Health Certificate, it’s always better to carry one.

Indus Travel Company offers online information of Health in Kerala. For any further query or to book a tour package, please fill the form below.
