Day 01: Arrival at Delhi
You will be received and welcomed at the Delhi airport, and later be transferred to a hotel. Delhi is the capital city India- the largest democracy .It is regarded as the second largest metropolis in India that has a glorious past
Day 02: Delhi
On the second day of the Rajasthan Heritage Tours, a sightseeing tour of Old Delhi is arranged. You will be driven in a fully AC deluxe coach to Raj Ghat – Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial, Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India, Red Fort – red sandstone fort built by Emperor Shah Jahan and the colorful bazaars at Chandani Chowk. After lunch, an exciting sightseeing trip of New Delhi is organized. You will visit Humayun’s tomb, Rajpath, Qutub Minar, India Gate, Parliament House and President’s residence. You can enjoy shopping at Palika Bazaar and Connaught Place and savor the culinary delicacies. Enjoy a traditional dance programme in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay is at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi – Agra - 221 kms by road
After breakfast, you will proceed to Agra. The city which was founded by the Mughal Emperors Akbar and Shah Jahan, and has many splendid monuments. A sightseeing trip of Agra is organized in the morning. You will visit the Taj Mahal, the 7th wonder of the world. It is a great monument of love built by Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. In the afternoon, the visitors can enjoy shopping and tasting the delicacies of Mughlai cuisine. Overnight stay is at the hotel.
Day 04: Agra – Jaipur - 221 kms by road
Day 4 of the Rajasthan Heritage Tour will take you to the princely state of Rajasthan and the Pink City of Jaipur. On the way, you will be visiting Fatehpur Sikri – a deserted fairytale city built in red sandstone. Fatehpur Sikri is famed for Salim Chisti’s Dargah, Buland Darwaza, Jodha Mahal and Hawa Mahal. You will be checking in the hotel in Jaipur. It is the capital of Rajasthan and is famed for its huge forts, beautiful palaces, exquisite temples and lush green gardens. The places of tourist interest include Hawa Mahal, City Palace Museum, Amber Fort, Jantar Mantar along with others. Overnight stay is at a hotel in Jaipur.
Day 05: Jaipur
After breakfast, drive to the Amer Fort , which is a fusion of the Hindu and the Mughal architecture, built in red sandstone and white marble. Enjoy an elephant ride in the fort. In the afternoon, you continue the sightseeing tour and visit the City Palace that displays the fine Rajasthani work as well as the Mughal art, Chandra Mahal that has a central courtyard with a marble fountain, Shri Govind Dev Temple, Jantar Mantar – the astronomical museum and the Hawa Mahal. Jantar Mantar is one of the five observatories built by Maharaja Jaisingh. Hawa Mahal was used by the royal women to see the proceedings on the street below, through the numerous windows with intricate Jaali work. Evenings are free and can be used for shopping in the colorful bazaars or recreation. Overnight stay is at the hotel.
Day 06: Jaipur - Jodhpur - 280 kms by road
You will drive to Jodhpur after breakfast and check in at the hotel by lunchtime. Jodhpur was an erstwhile capital of the Marwar State and its main tourist attraction is the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort. A Sightseeing trip is arranged in the afternoon to visit the Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest forts in Rajasthan and the majestic Jaswant Thada Memorial. Mehrangarh Fort is perched majestically atop a sandstone hill that is 150 meter in height. Overnight stay is at Jodhpur. It is an imposing structure with many palatial mansions. Jaswant Thada is a memorial dedicated to the great Rajput king, Maharaja Jaswant Singh.
Day 07: Jodhpur – Udaipur - 250 kms by road
You will drive to Udaipur in the morning and on the way; visit the famous Jain temples at Ranakpur. Udaipur is the city of dawn, a lovely city with beautiful lakes and hills. It is famous for its lake palaces, Lake Pichhola, the oldest and largest lakes of Udaipur that is surrounded by many palaces, gardens, temples, bathing ghats, lush green hills and bazaars. The must see places in Udaipur include the Jag Niwas Palace, City Palace, Saheliyon Ki Bari and Jagdish Temple along with many more. Overnight stay is at Udaipur.
Day 08: Udaipur
You proceed for a sightseeing tour of Udaipur after savoring the delectable Rajasthani cuisine. The first destination is the Royal City Palace, resplendent with mirrored walls, ivory doors, colored glass windows, marble balconies and Peacock courtyard. After lunch, you will go to Lake Pichhola and enjoy a motor launch cruise in the evening. Overnight stay is at Udaipur.
Day 09: Udaipur – Pushkar - 250 kms by road
You will head for Pushkar, the land that is also known as the Lord Brahma’s abode. Pushkar is in news due to the famous Pushkar fair that is held here. In the morning you will also visit the famous Dargah Sharif, one of the most sacred Muslim Shrines in India that is located at Ajmer. You will reach Pushkar after lunch and check in.
Day 10: Pushkar – Kishangarh – Delhi - 352 kms by road
You will drive to Kishangarh on day 10 of the Rajasthan Heritage Tour in the morning. Kishangarh is renowned for miniature paintings and the Phool Mahal, also known as the palace of flowers of Maharaja of Kishangarh. Enjoy a tasty Rajasthani lunch at Phool Mahal and then start for Delhi. You will reach the capital Delhi by evening and will be transferred to the airport for a homebound flight.
