Day 01: Delhi – Srinagar
Delhi, the capital of India, is known for its beautiful monuments and warm hospitality. On your arrival at the Delhi International airport, our representatives will assist you and lead you on a flight to Srinagar. The city of Srinagar is full of lakes, mountains and gardens. On your arrival, you will be transferred to a houseboat and in the afternoon you can have an enjoyable Shikara ride on the calm waters of Lake Dal. The lake is better known for its 500 plus Victorian era wooden houseboats. Amidst the lake is the scenic picnic spot named Char Chinar. You can have your dinner and spend the night at Srinagar.

Day 02: Srinagar
Today we visit the city of Srinagar. After having breakfast, we visit Shankaracharya Temple and in the second half of the day we visit Moghul gardens, which is a beautiful place with pleasant ambience. The Shankaracharya Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is perched strategically on a hilltop from where you can view the entire Srinagar town. The Mogul gardens of the Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh and Chasmeshahi are well-laid out gardens with beautiful fountains and exotic flowers. We spend the night at Srinagar.

Day 03: Srinagar
Today we spend the whole day visiting Gulmarg. It is an adventurous getaway that hosts a number of winter sports. Gulmarg is especially known as a mountain resort which has the highest green golf course in India and also a premier ski resort of this country. You can also enjoy pony rides and cable car rides in Gulmarg. It is not merely a mountain resort of exceptional beauty- it also has the highest green golf course in the world.

Day 04: Srinagar – Kargil (204 kms)
After starting the day with a healthy breakfast we take a long drive to Kargil, which is nearly 204 kilometers. It is a mountainous desert and is better known as the land of the Agas. Kargil has the highest motorable track in the world. On our way, we halt at Sonemarg which is famous for its skiing slopes. Sonemarg is endowed with classic natural beauty of the snow clad mountains, valleys, rivers and clouds.

Day 05: Kargil – Uletokpo (160 kms)
Today we start the day with a stomach full breakfast and then drive to Uletokpo, while on the way we visit Mulbekh and Lamayuru Monastery. The Lamayuru Monastery is situated at the altitude of 3800 meters between Fotu-la and Khalsi. The prayer bells and burning oil lamps lift your spirits and souls. You can enjoy the expansive passes in the Himalayan mountain ranges.

Day 06: Uletokpo – Leh (70 kms)
During the first half of the day, we visit Alchi Monastery and during the second half of the day we drive to Leh while visiting Phyang Monastery on the way. It is 17 km to the west of Leh and is situated on hilltop. It is quite similar to the Likir monastry. The Gompa or the monasteries of Alchi village date back to thousand of years. The Phyang Monastery is owned by the Red Sect of Buddhists.

Today we spend the day at Leh as we visit Shanti Stupa, Shankar Gompa, Spituk and Stokh Palace. The Shanti Stupa is a white dome like structure that looks beautiful when illuminated at night. The Shankar Gompa has a large image of the Avalokiteshvara (The Buddhist deity of compassion) who is said to have had 1000 heads and the same number of arms. The Spituk monastery is better known for its collection of Buddhist artifacts. The Stokh Palace is strategically located on deposits of the glacier. We spend the night at a hotel in Leh.
